Elinext Group, an alliance of custom software development companies, announces successful completion of two Augmented Reality applications for advertising famous brands of a giant multinational consumer goods company

October 16, 2012. Maxim Galinouski, Director of Mobile Development at Elinext Group, announced today successful completion of two interactive games with Augmented Reality (AR) for the iPad. The projects required high proficiency in UI/UX as well as deep expertise in 3ds Max, OpenCV, Vuforia and Unity 3D software.
The created apps demonstrate advantages of the advertised consumer goods (shampoo and laundry detergent respectively) in an entertaining manner. Thus, in-store shoppers are invited to play with the help of the iPad short interactive AR games that catch attention, create emotional appeal and stage the product effectively.

“Expectations of today’s consumers are soaring. People want more credibility and advice about the products they are going to buy. Augmented Reality opens up almost unlimited possibilities for putting interactive information and immersive experiences right in the hands of mobile device users,” said Maxim Galinouski.

Mobile Augmented Reality (MAR) is particularly attractive to global brands. Companies that use Augmented Reality technology report higher levels of consumer engagement and greater commercial benefits. Further, in the coming years MAR is going to be a significant aspect of mobile marketing and is predicted a precipitous growth. “We are now seeing a sharp increase in the number of AR apps. It is just the beginning of a fast-growing global market,” said Vladimir Antonovitch, Elinext

Group’s CTO. According to a report by Juniper Research, by 2017, over 2.5 billion mobile AR apps will be downloaded to smartphones and tablets per annum.

“Providing professional design, development and consultancy services, we are dedicated to bringing our clients high-quality Augmented Reality solutions. Positive experiences with multimedia AR advertising content may raise consumer awareness to advocacy, and finally result in greater purchases of physical goods. For those looking to deploy a mobile Augmented Reality application, Elinext Group offers its extensive experience, technological expertise and resources,” concluded Maxim Galinouski.
