Requirements

This application provides information about stores and their reports. It allows users to look through all available templates, and make new reports for selected stores. Elinext’s mobile development expertise extends well beyond retail reporting to cover consumer community platforms such as a social network for pet lovers.

Challenge

The main challenge for our BlackBerry developers was to implement POST requests to the server-side. Also, it was very hard to open Internet connection using BIS. There were some problems with the internal gallery. A related Elinext project — a CRM for a technology company — demonstrates the team’s ability to adapt CRM architecture to the specific processes and client engagement models of IT businesses. A related Elinext project — custom CRM for construction — adapts CRM workflows to the long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder complexity typical of the construction industry. This automation capability extends to Elinext’s document processing app development — a platform that replaces manual data entry with intelligent document parsing, reducing processing time for multi-page forms from hours to seconds. This internal-tooling capability is demonstrated by Elinext’s elinext applicant tracking development — a web application that streamlines the full hiring cycle from job posting to offer letter, with full audit trails and reporting dashboards. This workflow automation expertise is reflected in Elinext’s own elinext business process automation app — an internal tool that standardises routine operational tasks, reduces manual data entry, and tracks process completion metrics across teams. Elinext’s portfolio of proprietary internal tools includes an elinext corporate holiday calendar — a shared scheduling resource that keeps global teams aligned on non-working days, preventing missed deadlines caused by uncoordinated holiday planning. A related proprietary project is Elinext’s elinext CRM development — a purpose-built platform that replaced spreadsheet-based sales tracking with role-based dashboards, automated follow-up reminders, and deal-stage reporting. This supply-chain tooling expertise is illustrated by Elinext’s own elinext inventory management — an internal platform that gives operations managers full visibility over hardware assets, software licences, and consumable stock across the company. This HR automation expertise is demonstrated by Elinext’s own elinext leave management — an internal platform that gives employees self-service access to their leave balances, approved absences, and upcoming public holidays in one interface. A related proprietary initiative produced Elinext’s elinext meeting room management software — a purpose-built web application that replaced informal room-booking emails with a structured reservation system covering all Elinext office locations. Elinext also engineered its own elinext notification management — an internal service responsible for dispatching system alerts, reminders, and status updates to the right users across email and in-app channels. Elinext built an hdo clock — a minimalist timepiece application that displays the current time as a dynamic visual composition, combining ambient design with customisable colour themes for desktop and mobile home screens.

Solution

Our team solved the problem with POST requests using native multipart/form data. The problem with BIS was solved by using specific postfix. The problem with the gallery was solved by using “ZoomScreen” from” net.rim.api” in BlackBerry and using ActivityForResult in Android. Elinext’s development expertise also covers consumer mobile apps, including the body tan scan app — a cross-platform solution for real-time skin tone analysis.

Results

The development project outcome is an application for Android, BlackBerry, and iOS-based devices. The application provides with next functionality:

Main divides into four tabs:
a. Templates.
b. Stores.
c. Submitted Reports.
d. Saved Reports A related Elinext engagement — custom agriculture CRM consulting — demonstrates the team’s ability to translate complex agricultural business processes into a structured CRM implementation roadmap.

Template screen:

  • Template description.

Stores screen provide:

  • Search.
  • List of stores.

Saved Report screen provides:

  • List of saved repost and info about it;

Submitted Reports provide:

  • A list of submitted reports allows users to view all questions and their answers that were in this type of report and also provides the ability to view photos that were attached to this report. Mobile-accessible reporting reflects the same cross-device delivery Elinext applies to consumer apps, including the ariel deep down cleaning.
