The client is a startup in Germany who wanted to create a bar promotion app that connects bars and restaurants with their visitors.


The app should promote bars and restaurants all across Germany and help visitors discover new places. The main idea of the project is to offer application users one free drink a day in any partner facility on the basis of a monthly paid subscription thus letting them discover new places throughout the country. For barkeepers, this is a good platform to advertise their place among mobile users and turn them into real customers.


Elinext team has created a full software kit for this project:

  • a website with the admin panel for bartenders where they can edit the description, opening hours, add special offers or photos from the events
  • two applications for Android and iOS for visitors.

The application allows users to search for the bars near their location. All the facilities are pinned to the map with automatic location detection and navigation paths. When clicking on the specific location, the user can see all the details about a bar or a restaurant including their special offers, working hours, and photos

Users get paid access based on subscription to get one free drink every day. A user should register and pay via bank card or Paypal for each month. New users start with a 14-day free trial and may extend their free access period by inviting their friends. With each new invited friend, a client gets additional access time.

Barkeepers get a year free subscription to be on the list of the website and the app. After that, they should pay a monthly fee for the partnership. Additionally, they can get into the premium listing to appear higher on the list than their competitors.

Specific Features

As a result, the customer has got  a fully functional website and 2 reliable applications for iOS and Android with the following features:

  • admin panel;
  • payment systems integration;
  • Facebook integration;
  • a map with navigation;
  • custom UX/UI design.


The outcome of the project is a reliable bar promotion app that works as described in the initial specification. The app is about to be released on the app stores in the summer of 2018.
