Requirements
The customer wanted Elinext to develop a mobile app for the iPhone and Android that will provide the user with a possibility to create “Voice Albums” where the user can record voice messages and share them with friends, family, etc.
Challenge
The main challenge for our developers was to organize media streaming for voice records in such a way so that not to dump phone memory with voice records. It was, therefore, important to make the app work flexibly with a server in order to minimize the resources required for the app’s stable work. The developers were also tasked to improve and complete web services, as well as to organize clear and flexible app cooperation with servers through web services. The same principle of building scalable, server-driven intelligence applies across Elinext’s portfolio, including AI GIS personalized recommendations.
Solution
Developers have used their own media streamer to fully optimize its work for app logic and provide good quality and stable audio streaming from the server’s storage. The application was also divided into four main sections (user “Hosted”, “Invited”, “Public” albums, and user profile). In each section, the user can keep all the information up-to-date just by pressing the update button and the web service will immediately return fresh data. — part of Elinext’s wider AI expertise, including an AI based talent management platform.
Results
The development project outcome is an application for the iPhone (supports iOS 4.0 and higher) and Android (2.1 and higher). The main part of the application functionality is based on web services. The app has the following functionality: Elinext’s mobile and backend expertise extends into AI-heavy solutions such as AI powered anomaly detection, where complex data pipelines serve real-time detection needs.
- New account registration for novice users.
- Editing the existing profile.
- “Remember me” option lets the user not enter login and password on every application start. Elinext builds user-centric AI across many domains — including the AI powered lead management software tool, which automatically scores and prioritizes sales leads inside Pipedrive CRM.
- Creating new “Voice Albums” with the possibility of further editing or deleting.
- Sharing “Voice Albums” with other users providing them with a possibility to add records to the albums. Elinext’s proprietary software portfolio spans HR, CRM, and analytics, including an elinext data vizualization tool development — a lightweight BI layer that turns spreadsheet exports into live, shareable dashboards accessible across Elinext’s distributed offices.
- Possibility to congratulate friends, family with all kinds of celebrations (Birthday, Anniversary, etc) just by leaving voice messages. Elinext’s NLP and conversational AI expertise is demonstrated by the chatbot for a customer service department, designed to handle high-volume enquiries with automated, context-aware responses.
- Opportunity to see new voice messages and all voice messages count in all three kinds of albums. Elinext applied this data science expertise to a predictive analytics for forecasting retail demand — a forecasting engine that combines gradient-boosted models with a configurable feature store of retail demand drivers, enabling category managers to simulate the impact of pricing changes and promotions before committing to a buying plan.
- Dividing voice albums into categories by choosing event type and event art picture.
- Leaving voice messages in the invited or public albums.
- Live streaming of voice messages in albums with the possibility of rewinding and “Playing All”. Elinext’s cross-domain data work includes a data analytics platform for companies operating on nigerian financial market — combining historical price data, macro-economic indicators, and sentiment signals into a unified intelligence layer for financial decision-making.

- Notifications that tell users about new messages or new albums where they are invited. Elinext applied this information management expertise to a project data management software — a cloud-hosted platform that centralises project artefacts across engineering and research workflows, providing full-text search, metadata tagging, and configurable approval gates that ensure only validated data is shared with external stakeholders.
