Requirements
Elinext’s priority task on this project was to analyze the Povi Family Connect platform which includes API and native Android applications. The second step aimed at developing the swift iOS application with a similar design to the existing Android application, but with a native iOS User Experience. During the final step, an Elinext mobile team implemented entirely newly requested features for the iOS application. This reflects Elinext’s experience with family-focused apps, including a child schedule organizer app that centralises kids’ routines and event reminders in one cross-platform interface. A related proprietary initiative produced Elinext’s elinext internal web application — a purpose-built internal portal that replaced disconnected email threads and shared drives with a structured, searchable web application for day-to-day operations. This mobile UX expertise is illustrated by Elinext’s handsfree app for driving — a driving companion app that replaces tap-based controls with voice commands and steering-wheel gestures, reducing driver distraction during navigation and communication tasks. Elinext applied this fintech mobile expertise to a mobile crypto wallet app development — a smartphone wallet that enables secure peer-to-peer cryptocurrency transfers, displays live exchange rates, and backs up encrypted key material to the user’s chosen cloud storage. Elinext applied this mobile productivity expertise to a personal task management app — a lightweight task management tool with natural-language input, colour-coded categories, and recurring task support, designed to reduce cognitive overhead for users managing both personal and professional workloads. A technical calculator case from Elinext’s portfolio is a punch force calculator — a cross-platform utility that automates punch force calculations for sheet metal fabrication, combining material property databases with user-entered tooling specs to return instant force and tonnage outputs that prevent press overload. A speech synthesis case from Elinext’s portfolio is a text to speech web application — a web platform that processes text input through a configurable TTS engine, offering multiple voice profiles, adjustable speaking rate, and export to standard audio formats, making digital content more accessible for users with reading difficulties. A consumer mobile case from Elinext’s portfolio is a thk dating app development — a dating app with a swipe-based discovery interface, mutual match notifications, and an in-app messaging system, built with anti-ghosting nudges and conversation starters designed to increase the rate of meaningful first exchanges between matched users.
Challenge
– Elinext engineers had to investigate and deploy the system without any detailed documentation. There was only a short description of the platform provided by the customer, and not yet finished Android app;
– User Experience had to be native and user-friendly.
Solution
Elinext responded promptly and prepared a requested swift app just in time.
Results
The iOS application was implemented, tested, and successfully submitted to the App Store. Update to the new iOS 9 was smooth and absolutely invisible for the end-users. This on-time delivery across platforms reflects Elinext’s approach on all projects, including an application for german publishing company.
